Rick Hellberg, 60, is the new leader of the city GOP after 20 Republican ward leaders voted him in as chairperson at special election, held at St. Michael the Archangel Orthodox Church in northern liberties on Wednesday, May 23, 2012. The decision to install Hellberg as chairman is likely to be challenged in court by long-time GOP leaders who were not present at the meeting.
